Is Jason’s Passivity Making General Hospital (GH) Fans Actively Angry?

Ever since Jason returned to General Hospital (GH), he’s been noticeably… low-key about… everything.

Now, granted, Jason (Steve Burton) wasn’t exactly a bubbling cauldron of emotion during the time between his amnesia-inducing car accident and his short walk off a long pier.

But there were periodic flashes of feeling. Over Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). Over Jake. Over Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Danny.

Except that, ever since Jason returned and proved who he really was, finding out that Sam, Danny, and everyone else had accepted his impostor, Drew (Billy Miller), in Jason’s place, his response has been decidedly… meh.

Fans expected him to fight for his family, yet Jason insists on sitting back passively and letting events take their course, with no pushing from him. Here’s how almost 8,000 viewers feel about that.

Wake up, Jason, shout 82% of you! How will Sam know that you still love her, unless you tell her?

Over and over again. Unless you make a big gesture. Unless you sweep her off her feet. Heck, you expressed more longing for Carly (Laura Wright), Sonny (Maurice Benard), and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), for things to go back to the way they were, then you did with your wife and son.

That’s not the way we play things in Port Charles. Get with the program, Morgan. Oh, and give us something entertaining to watch while you’re at it.

Stay the Course
No one likes to feel pressured, confirm 37% of the audience. Jason is doing exactly the right thing when it comes to Sam — and Drew. The guy is feeling more and more insecure, which means he’s on track to self-destruct his relationship with Sam and Danny all by himself.

All Jason has to do is sit back and pick up the pieces. He’ll get Sam back faster that way.
