General Hospital (GH) is going to be over-run with Jasons very soon…or will it?
With Steve Burton’s return confirmed, it makes sense that he’ll return as Jason Morgan, but on a soap, anything can happen.
Soap Hub asked you who you want Burton to play, and it looks like Billy Miller has made quite a mark in his nearly three years on the soap.
Out of about 5,000 votes, only half of you want Burton to play the character he made famous for more than two decades. Considering how popular he was as Jason “Stone Cold” Morgan, that’s not an especially high number.
However, that doesn’t mean you don’t want Burton back.

Another 44% of you think there’s room on the GH canvas for both Burton and Miller and that Burton should play Jason’s twin, someone who we once thought Franco was. Long-lost twins are as common as the cold on soaps, so it’s not all that far-fetched.
Sam (Kelly Monaco) would be with the man she always loved, but still forced to look at this original face. That could make things awfully interesting for her.
And, if Burton DOES play Jason, then Sam would be torn between the man she married in a Chinese restaurant and the one she married on Sonny’s terrace. She’ll also have a child with each man. What’s a woman to do? And, as if she doesn’t have enough troubles.
There are still 6% of you who chose the “other” option, with a few saying you want Burton to play someone not related to Jason at all and a very small number who don’t want him back at all.
