Fans swooned when James Patrick Stuart sang his heart out to Nina at General Hospital’s Nurses’ Ball the last two years and now they’ll get the chance to hear even more!
That’s because the actor, who is the son of Chad Stuart — of the famous singing duo, Chad & Jeremy — is producing an album to be released April and he’s been sharing the progress on social media.
At the beginning of January, Stuart released the image of his cover — a simple picture of a tree with the title — The Apple Tree — as well as his name splashed across it. The caption let fans know that they will be able to get it on iTunes this April.
Then on Wednesday, Stuart tweeted even more tidbits when he shared an image of sheet music and a cup of coffee, along with the following words:
“Today I will be recording 4 French horns at my Apple Tree Studio. They will be playing a piece my father wrote 50 years ago. I am moved by the chance to time travel back into the mind of my father at 25 years old and at his most prolific.”
On Instagram, Stuart showed the same image but with a different message: “Growing up, my father would put his coffee cup on anything. My homework, birth certificate, parking tickets… anything paper was fair game. My Pee Chee folders always had coffee rings.”
For fans, it’s a good bet that April can’t come soon enough.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
