Young General Hospital (GH) star Brooklyn Rae Silzer was injured and had to wear a cast for a while, but now she has some good news to share!
On June 23, the pint-sized dynamo’s mom announced on Instagram that she had a mishap that ended up with a visit to the doctor.
“Dance recital weekend! Not the accessory we were looking for but it is pink with glitter! So happy she can still dance with it❤🙈😬👯♀️🙏🏽⭐ #dancer #dancerecital #fracturedwrist #nomoregoalie #stronggirl #alwaysanadventure #jazz #lyricaldance”
The cast didn’t slow her down. She continued to enjoy things like celebrating the 4th of July, with another photo of her leaping in the air to celebrate. But like any active youngster, having a cast on your arm can be a real downer.
After all, there’s so much you want to do but you have to be careful of that cast and not get it wet. It can really restrict the fun. But all of that is over now!
“Wohoo!! Thank you so much to my awesome Orthopedic Doctor @KPSCALnews ! My wrist is all healed and free from a cast!!!! ❤👏🏼👩🏻⚕️💦🌻 #thankfulthursday #grateful”
Her time in the cast wasn’t all bad. After all, not every young girl can claim that music superstar Seal has signed their cast!
Silzer isn’t the only GH star who has had her fun curbed over an accident. Scarlett Fernandez (Charlotte) tripped, fell, and broke her collarbone around the same time and was told she had to have her arm in a sling for two months!
She hasn’t let it get her down, still making trips to the beach and back east where she visited Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C., and Virginia.
Soap Hub wishes both actresses a safe rest of their summer.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
