An Important Message For General Hospital Convention Fans!

For three years now, Creation Entertainment has helped make it possible for fans of General Hospital to meet their favorite soap stars! Now, the company has a special message for its attendees.

The company sent out an email confirming past event attendees’ credit card information may have been compromised.

The following statement appears on the Creation Entertainment website.

“We take the safety and security of our customers very seriously,” Creation Entertainment posted on its website. “Since learning of a possible issue with fraudulent credit card charges, we have been working diligently to discover the cause and to update everyone on our progress.

“We can now confirm that there was a breach of our system related to transactions that occurred in and prior to October 2018. More detailed notices will be sent to individual cardholders whose information was potentially compromised.

“We will also be working with law enforcement and credit reporting agencies to bring the responsible individual(s) to justice and to minimize as much as possible the harm to our customers.”

The good news is that the company has a new format for processing credit cards.

“There does not appear to be an issue with our new system and we regret any inconvenience this may cause. As additional information becomes available, we will share as much as we can.”

This year’s Creation Entertainment General Hospital Convention event is set to take place Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9 at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport. For details, click here.
