Impeachment Update: How You Can See Wednesday’s Soap Operas

With the House of Representative Impeachment Hearings carried live on all networks from early Wednesday morning until late in the day, soap operas did not air at their regular times.

NBC affiliates have the option of airing Days of Our Lives at some point tonight, so you can check with your local station as to when and if it will air. However, the soap will be available on NBC.com later on Wednesday evening.

The other three soaps have tweeted their plans and these shows will be delayed by one day, with today’s regularly scheduled episodes airing tomorrow.

After changing plans twice, ABC finally decided what to do with General Hospital, tweeting: “UPDATE: Today’s scheduled episode of #GH will now air tomorrow.”

The Young and the Restless tweeted this: “Due to CBS news coverage, the episode of #YR originally scheduled for today (Wednesday 11/13) will be seen tomorrow at its regular time.”

Finally, The Bold and the Beautiful tweeting the following: “Due to news coverage of the impeachment hearings, The Bold and the Beautiful has been nationally pre-empted today, November 13. Today’s episode will air tomorrow!”

What the networks will choose to do on Friday remains up in the air, as more hearings are scheduled. In addition, hearings are scheduled for both morning and afternoon, as well as much of next week. Soap Hub will bring you details on how to see your soap operas as we learn them.
