Impeachment Soap Opera
A dramatic day of impeachment testimony in Washington, DC interrupted our soap operas again today as this hearing in the House of Representatives stretched from morning until late afternoon.
So, how will we catch today’s episodes? Although not confirmed, Days of Our Lives typically does not delay its schedule and will likely show today’s episode on NBC.com, while some affiliates may air it late into the night.
However, the other soaps will delay their schedule and air today’s episodes tomorrow or Friday. Yes, another day of impeachment hearings is on deck for tomorrow but Congress may recess in the afternoon as it did yesterday so we can see our soap operas.
“Due to the ongoing impeachment hearings, today’s episode of #GH will instead air tomorrow. Thank you for your patience with these interruptions,” General Hospital tweeted.
“The Bold and the Beautiful was preempted today, but there’s good news! You won’t be missing today’s episode. It will air tomorrow at our regularly scheduled time,” The Bold and the Beautiful tweeted. What BB does, The Young and the Restless typically follows when it comes to pre-emptions.
