Here’s Where You Can Find General Hospital’s Marc Anthony Samuel

The last time General Hospital‘s Felix DuBois popped up in Port Charles, he helped pay tribute to the late great head nurse Bobbie Spencer at the character’s memorial service. As for the actor who plays Felix, Marc Anthony Samuel is currently having a great autumn. He appears in the number-one movie and the number-one TV show on Netflix.

Samuel has taken advantage of the fact that his GH character is rarely seen these days. Recently, he showed up in a couple of Netflix projects that required him to share scenes with Ted Danson, Britt Robertson, and Chad Michael Murray among others.

The Merry Gentlemen

‘Tis the season to watch a million holiday movies, and Netflix is one of the best sources for those feel-good films, especially those of the spicy variety. In The Merry Gentlemen, Samuel plays Rodger, who’s married to Marla Sokoloff’s Marie, the sister of Ashley, the Broadway dancer who returns home to save her parents’ small-town nightclub. Ashley comes up with a Christmas-themed revue featuring shirtless male dancers who spread the joy of the holidays with their abs and their dance moves.

Samuel’s character is one of the hot dancers recruited for the revue, so the actor does get up on stage to perform dance routines. After its release, The Merry Gentlemen debuted at number one with 14.7 million views.

A Man On the Inside

Samuel’s other major November release is A Man On the Inside. The series stars Cheers and The Good Place alum Ted Danson. The eight-episode season features Danson’s character, Charles, who’s a retired professor who finds a new way to pass the time. A year after his wife dies, a private detective hires him to go undercover inside the Pacific View Retirement Home in San Francisco.

Samuel plays the son of one of the interesting men Charles meets at the retirement facility. The GH actor appears in the fourth and seventh episodes, and, yes, his character interacts with Danson at one point. Mike Schur of The Office, Parks and Recreation, The Good Place and Brooklyn Nine-Nine fame created the series. The heartfelt comedy series recently debuted at number one with 6.9 million views.
