General Hospital Star Hayley Erin Speaks Out On The End Of Kiki Jerome

Monday was the last day General Hospital fans saw Hayley Erin playing a living and breathing Lauren Katherine Jerome, aka Kiki.

Sure, we saw her cold, dead body today, breaking Griffin’s heart and shocking Jordan and Curtis on their wedding night, but we knew that look she gave Ryan would be the last look we’d see with her alive.

News of Erin’s GH departure arrived months ago after months of speculation prior to that. The talented actress landed a role on the new Pretty Little Liars spinoff and has given up her daytime life for primetime stardom.

Erin joined GH as Kiki in 2015, taking over the role from Kristen Alderson. Before that, she played Abby Newman on The Young and the Restless for two years.

Now, the actress has something to say to her fans and to GH for making the last three years of her life what it was.

In a farewell to Kiki tweet, Erin wrote:

“RIP Keeks. Much love to my @GeneralHospital family, I’ll miss you guys. Thank you for this wonderful, wild ride in daytime. I’ll always be grateful to the fans who embraced Kiki through the years, my life wouldn’t be nearly this beautiful without your constant love and support XO”
