Moms certainly love to dress up their little kids when they’re young and apparently this mom of a General Hospital star was no different. She dressed up her sweet son in the most adorable pirate outfit — but which actor posted this ‘throwback’ picture?

That pirate must have taken his rule-breaking to heart because he grew up to be none other than future Port Charles mobster, Sonny Corinthos — AKA Maurice Benard. The handsome actor shared the picture to his Instagram account, letting fans know how this cuteness came to be.

Oh, we’re definitely waiting for him to share the pictures of himself in little girl outfits! Somehow it’s hard to picture the Maurice Benard we know today as that little guy in the pirate outfit, but he certainly was adorable no matter what his mom made him wear. But seeing even more of his flashbacks would certainly be appreciated!

His taste has certainly improved over the years. But we can’t help but wonder if Benard got his hands on the outfit if he ever got his son Joshua to wear it.
