Soap fan and star of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, Chandra Wilson, is checking back into General Hospital (GH) for a surprising role!
According to TV Insider, Wilson begins shooting her guest spot on the show today… and considering both shows shoot on the same lot, she won’t have to travel far.
She’ll play Dr. Linda Massey, a marriage and family therapist counseling Jordan (Vinessa Antoine), Curtis (Donnell Turner), and Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson).
While it’s no surprise to fans that Aunt Stella is having a hard time accepting that Curtis and Jordan are together, it’s interesting that it’s gotten so bad they feel that seeking therapy together is the only solution… and it should make for some incredible scenes.
This isn’t the first time that Wilson, a renowned soap fan herself, has appeared on the ABC soap. Back in 2014, she played Tina Estrada, a patient of Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).
The revolving door between both shows has worked the other way too. Hudson West (Jake), Jen Lilley (ex-Maxie), and Nazanin Boniadi (Leyla) have all guest-starred on the popular medical drama.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
