He had the thankless job of replacing beloved Detective Nathan West, shot in the line of duty on General Hospital… so have fans warmed up to Harrison Chase?

The first smart move that GH made was tying him to a beloved character like Michael Easton’s Hamilton Finn. Then again, Finn doesn’t even seem to like Chase (Josh Swickard) much. He certainly hasn’t been welcoming him to the Port Charles scene.

Despite the unenviable task of trying to replace Det. Nathan West, Chase managed to win the respect and friendship of Nathan’s partner, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), which was pretty impressive.

He even got Maxie (Kirsten Storms) to give him a fair shake, which is no easy task either. Now he’s about to bring down the most hated woman to grace Port Charles in ages — Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier).
