General Hospital’s Briana Henry is very giving and loving to her family and friends, but sometimes doesn’t always remember to take care of her own body and soul. The actress recently expressed the importance of self-care and revealed that she’s been having some challenges of late.
Briana Henry Remembers The Importance of Self-Care
“Reminding myself to be tender with where my heart is, my mind is, my body is,” she posted to Instagram. “I hold space for a lot of the people I love and forget to do it for myself sometimes. Recurring immune flare-ups can take a toll on your heart space. I know, as I’ve dealt with them for the better part of my adult life.”
Henry noted that these flare-ups are something that creates a lot of issues and dealing with them can be a struggle. “A bad flare-up can lead to a world of exhaustion, insecurity, sleeplessness, and a lot of pain, both physically and mentally,” she shared. And she knows that she has people in her life that are there for her, and wants others experiencing these same challenges to recognize those who are there to help them and know they aren’t alone.

“Here’s a less than perfect Briana, just reminding myself and anyone out there that deals with health obstacles/ autoimmune challenges that you aren’t alone,” she wrote, adding a photo of herself. “And despite these hard-to-understand bodies we exist in, we aren’t being punished, just challenged to tune into a deeper place of listening, understanding and patience. Sending love and tenderness your way.”

Love you”; and Finola Hughes (Anna, GH), who wrote, “Sending love to you, beauty ❤ You are always so generous with yourself, I am glad you are turning that light inwards for a moment xxx.”
On-screen, Jordan has been experiencing her own challenges lately as she feels her recent actions have hurt her chances of remaining an effective commissioner. But Laura seems to have convinced her that the people of Port Charles will forgive her indiscretions and rally around her. Just as Henry’s friends are rallying around her now.
