Popular “General Hospital” star William deVry has an exciting new job–and this time he’s appearing as himself.
A Glass of Your Best Wine!
deVry will host the new reality TV show “Best Bottle”. The series pits two teams against each other as they attempt to make the best bottle of wine. The teams will compete from different winemaking regions across the country.
Each week deVry and a “fun” co-host will lead the team through challenges and competitions, according to the show’s Celebrity Coordinator, Bill Francis.
“The winning contestant, chosen by a panel of celebrity judges and loyal viewers, receives a cash prize, the opportunity to bottle one vintage under the ‘Best Bottle’ label, and a custom designed advertising campaign,” according to the show’s website. Each competition sees one contestant eliminated.
They Found Him!
The show found an ideal host in deVry, Francis said. They wanted someone with a significant social media presence, someone good-looking, and someone in his or her 40s. It sounds like a match made in vino heaven!
“I think fans will see a dimension of Will they don’t normally get to,” said Francis.

The “Next Winemaker Rockstar” Will Be Chosen Soon!
The show begins filming later this month, with its first contestants based in California and Oregon.
We’re certain deVry’s dashing looks and easy charm will help make this arduous competition a treat to watch. After all, he’s garnered a legion of fans as fearsome mobster Julian Jerome!
Many Soaps, Many Roles
deVry stepped into the role of Julian Jerome in 2013. He also played Michael Cambias on “All My Children” and Storm Logan on “Bold and the Beautiful”.
