GH Star Jophielle Love Talks The Whole Tooth and New Movie Role

Jophielle Love on General Hospital
 Comments

Jophielle Love recurs as adorable Violet Finn on General Hospital and now, she’s got two pieces of big news to share! One is a journey that nearly everyone goes through and another is unique to her.

Jophielle Love — The Tooth Fairy Visits

Jophielle Love posted on social media that she has lost one of her two front teeth and hints that her other one is not far behind from falling out. Additionally, more unique to Love, is that she’s landed a role in a new feature.

“So I will be working on a movie in a couple of days … and this just happened!” Jophielle Love posted. “And the one next to it is not far behind! We all know what is all I am going to want for Christmas!”

The actress is, of course, referring to the tune All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth. The holiday song was written in 1944 by Donald Yetter Gardner. The music teacher was inspired to create the tune after he noticed that nearly all of his second-grade students were missing a tooth and were talking with, understandably, a lisp. Perhaps GH will incorporate this tune into one of its Christmas-themed episodes if Jophielle Love’s tooth loss is written into the show?

What do you think? Post a comment!

An employee at the Witmark music company heard Gardner perform the song at a music teachers’ conference and it was published in 1948. Jophielle Love’s followers have been weighing in with supportive remarks on her post. One poster, @faith_love__happness, expressed happiness for Love on booking the movie but wanted to know if the actress will still be appearing on GH as Violet Finn. “Yes,” she replied.

Rebecca Budig Reaches Out

“My girl! Sooo sweet!” wrote Rebecca Budig (ex-Hayden Barnes). Violet’s mom has been mentioned often in recent episodes in light of the death of Hayden’s mother Naomi (Gigi Bermingham). Violet’s maternal grandmother passed away under mysterious circumstances. Is there a killer out there? Stay tuned to find out!

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes. For more about what’s coming up in Port Charles, check out all the latest that’s been posted on GH spoilers, and for an in-depth look at the show’s history, click here.
