On General Hospital, amnesia is a bit like the common cold. Everybody gets it eventually, but some people take longer to get over the affliction than others. Or maybe Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will slip and say something – either accidentally or finally out of guilt, and our long, national nightmare will be over!

Only 5% of the audience wants to wait until the next Nurse’s Ball, so Sonny can make his great reentry into Port Charles society humming a jaunty tune and perhaps doing a little soft-shoe routine. Hey, maybe he can sing “Memory” from “Cats!” Or “Ah, Yes, I Remember It Well” from “Gigi.” So many possibilities.
