Picture this – Port Charles, sometime in the next few months – Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are getting ready for one of the biggest days of their lives. It’s not every day two people stand at the altar and say they’re marrying their best friend AND mean it. These two are, though, and they’re feeling rather lucky. This big move will keep Carly alive (and in the mob game).
Sonny Is Back (But Not Really)
Okay, so there they are as the blushing bride and handsome groom. General Hospital spoilers hint they are totally ready to take this big step and even looking forward to the happily ever after. Jason says his vows and Carly is just about to say “I do” when out of the corner of her eye, who should appear but Sonny Corinthos!
Talk about a bombshell! Of course, it will take Carly a hot minute to get her bearings together. Is this a ghost? Is her mind playing tricks on her? The seconds feel like hours and in that short time, everyone else notices Sonny (Maurice Benard) standing there. He is very much real and very much alive.

Can you think of a better twist? Oh, we can. After the collective onlookers gasp and their jaws drop, there will be an even bigger turn of events. One no one will see this coming. Well, no one but Nina (Cynthia Watros). Sonny isn’t there to see Carly. Quite frankly, he has no idea who Carly even is. No, this is Mike and he’s here all the way from Nixon Falls to see Nina!
GH Spoilers: The Dramatic Aftermath
Imagine the shock, outrage, and fallout if this goes down. There is no way Carly will marry Jason with Sonny back in town, even if he doesn’t know he’s Sonny. Speaking of that, Nina Reeves is sure to have some serious answering to do to literally everyone. Her whole world will crash and burn around her.
As for ‘Smike,’ he may not know who he is at first, but maybe the exposure to his old stomping grounds — and that mysterious blonde from his dreams — will get those memories stirring. GH spoilers suggest, once they do, all hell will break loose.
