All Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) wants is a little time away from Sonny (Maurice Benard) – and who could blame her. Something’s clearly wrong with him. Carly can see it, Laura (Genie Francis) can see it, and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is getting a front-row seat to his friend’s manic spiral.
What exactly does Sonny mean when he says he wants Curtis’s club? Are we talking for the night? The weekend? Does he want to rename it The Paradise Lounge and install a stripper pole?
General Hospital Recap: Absence of Closure
Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) has but one request of Laura: be her Yoda and teach her how to purge Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) from her system. Laura’s advice? Slam the door shut on the past and keep on trucking – and hopefully avoid a decade-long crazy-induced catatonia and an unadvised remarriage to your first husband.
It’s really, really good advice…but Jennifer doesn’t seem poised to take it. On the bright side, she does appear to be distancing herself from the mob scene. Sure, she’s playing spy for whoever wants to usurp Sonny’s stranglehold, but she’s doing so begrudgingly. Maybe there’s hope for this one yet.

GH Spoilers Recap: Mirror Image
Maxie Jones’s (Kirsten Storms) day went from bad to worse. Not only is she being forced to accompany a besotted Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) back to Pautauk, but she’s realized that Lousie has bonded a little too well with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
At least she’s got that sonogram handy…the same sonogram that Brook Lynn copied and handed over to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) in order to legitimize her baby lie. Thanks to a run-in between Maxie and a sharp-eyed Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) the jig may very well and truly be up.
