The GH spoilers recap for Friday, August 5, 2022, features Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Harrison Chase doing a terrible job at running a con.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
As Chase (Josh Swickard) discussed his police job prospects with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Linc Brown (Dan Buran) happened by and decided to tell him all about a gig he got him at The Savoy so that he could have a whole other career. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) then showed up on cue to say she could do better.

When Linc took Chase aside, he also told him about another gig in Manhattan while Dante questioned Brook Lynn about what was going on. He knew damn well that they are trying to run a con on Linc and was curious about the details. Meanwhile, Linc told Chase that he knows Brook Lynn well enough to realize something strange is going on regarding Chase’s new life as a singer.
General Hospital Recap: Sasha Can’t Catch A Break
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) spent the whole night at the PCPD as he said he would until Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) showed up to discuss Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) arraignment. He suggested to Brando that someone serve as Sasha’s guardian temporarily to ensure she doesn’t end up behind bars.

While Brando and Martin discussed strategy, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) brought a dress for Sasha to wear and offered her words of support.
It turned out Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was also in support of Sasha as she laid out every horrible thing that has happened to this poor woman to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison). He wanted her to print the story of Sasha’s arrest as a first amendment rights story for Grant Smoltz (David Lautman), and she explained she can’t do that without the context of Sasha’s side.
The Deception ladies also tried to support Sasha by releasing a statement about mental health and donating money to mental health causes, but Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) later told Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) that she thinks Sasha should take a break from being the Face of Deception for a while.
GH Spoilers Recap: Cody Makes Inroads With Britt
It looked like Maxie’s plan for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to score another date with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) worked when he presented her with his romantic dating passport. She was touched and ready to give it a go, but Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) was determined to make sure that didn’t happen. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Maxie were confused about that, but Spinelli just remained a nervous wreck.
