The GH spoilers recap for Monday, August 22, 2022, features Curtis Ashford giving Portia Robinson quite a shock.
GH Spoilers Recap Highlights
Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brook Kerr) enjoyed some time at the Metro Court pool talking about Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and the lengths that Portia went to in order to make sure her daughter didn’t end up behind bars.
Cutis then got to talking about their future in a very cryptic way. Suddenly, he said he saw something at the bottom of the pool that he needed to get. So, he jumped in and then came up for air with a giant rock, presented it to Portia, and told her this is their future.

Meanwhile, over at GH, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) met Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) for the first time, and they made amends. Now, maybe Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) can come out of hiding and tell Jordan and Curtis they are still married — if she ever remembers that fact.
General Hospital Recap: Willow’s Seemingly Impossible Choice
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) finally sat down with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and went over her treatment options for leukemia while being pregnant. Britt warned Willow that cancer doesn’t wait for anyone, and if she waits to start treatment, it will definitely get worse. Yes, she can lose her baby and risk the fetus not developing correctly, but if she delays treatment, it could cost both her and her child their lives.

Willow then asked Britt if she wanted kids. When Britt said kids weren’t in her future, Willow callously told her she’d never understand the pain of losing a child. When Willow left to try to tell Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) what was going on, Britt stared at a picture of baby Ben, who is now the adolescent Rocco Falconeri.
GH Spoilers Recap: All About The Q Picnic
The Quartermaines readied themselves with the big barbecue with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) telling Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) about a love potion that will work on people who are meant to be together. Leo was fascinated by this and decided he would use it on Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
Dex Heller (Evan Heller) also arrived to deliver some Corinthos Coffee for the picnic raffle and told Michael that Sonny is angry after learning about his dishonorable military discharge. Michael said that is why he hired Dex — because he defended a family in an abusive situation, and it would remind Sonny of his own stepfather. At the park, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) told Sonny she didn’t want to go with him to the Q picnic because she didn’t want to deal with the drama of being seen together there.
Finally, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) almost told Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) that his father slept with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), but then Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) showed up and stopped her. He also insisted they go to the Q picnic together, for appearances’ sake, of course.
