Who’s coming and who’s going from General Hospital? Are any of your favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the not-too-far-off future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring, or day-player roles? Are any well-remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the General Hospital fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the ABC soap.
Longtime vet John J. York will be taking a short break from his role as Mac Scorpio. The actor shared the news on Twitter/X. “Just want to let you know that I will be taking a brief hiatus from the show in a few weeks,” he posted. “I’m in the process of getting some important information. So hang tight, and I’ll be in touch.”
Joshua Benard is back as Adam, a college classmate of Eden McCoy’s Josslyn Jacks, this week. The actor is the real-life son of Maurice Benard, who portrays Sonny Corinthos.
Speaking of Sonny, Matthew Kimbrough is playing Judge Jarrett. The character will be presiding over the mob king’s upcoming arraignment.
Jeff LeBeau makes another appearance as FBI Agent Moss. He was one of the lawmen involved in Sonny’s arrest.
Also, that was Guy Noland, who played Steve. The dock worker previously warned Carly (Laura Wright) about the sting operation involving Sonny’s organization.
