A familiar face from yesteryear resurfaces in Port Charles. Rena Sofer is back as Lois Cerullo, the role she initially began playing in 1993 and that earned her a Daytime Emmy as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 1995. Look for the character, who debuts on Tuesday, October 10, to immediately interact with Amanda Setton’s Brook Lynn Quartermaine, Jane Elliot’s Tracy Quartermaine, Lisa LoCicero’s Olivia Quartermaine, and Wally Kurth’s Ned Quartermaine/Eddie Maine.
Meanwhile, Bonnie Burroughs is out as Gladys Corbin. Burroughs, who was initially slated for a short-term appearance on the soap, ended up staying for four years.
Also on the exit front, Lauren Swickard, the real-life wife of Josh Swickard who plays Chase, has wrapped up her run as Ferncliff nurse Janice. And Darin Toonder has completed his stint as the evil Dr. Montague.
After a lengthy absence, Bradford Anderson pops in as Damian Spinelli. Look for the character to reappear this week.
