A lead character’s black sheep brother is returning to the soap. Actually, make that half brother. Rick Hearst is resurrecting his role as Ric Lansing, Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) shady sibling and Molly’s (Kristen Vaganos) father. He starts filming on Monday, July 29 and will begin airing the week of August 19. Hearst originally played Ric from 2002 to 2009 and had his last run on the soap from 2014 to 2016.
