GH Alum Briana Nicole Henry Welcomes Her First Child Into The World

General Hospital fans were disappointed when they learned that Briana Nicole Henry  left the show when Jordan Ashford was transferred to an out-of-town hospital last September. Just two short months later, the actress announced her own personal miraculous news — she was pregnant — and now she’s had her baby!

Briana Nicole Henry Gives Birth To First Child

On February 28, 2022, Henry and her husband, composer and musician Kris Bowers, welcomed a baby girl Coda. “You have introduced me to my favorite version of myself. Thanks for making the journey here with me little one,” wrote the beautiful star. “Welcome my little Coda, I love you endlessly. 2.28.22 👶🏽 @krisbowersmusic thank you for reminding me of my power throughout this entire process. I love you. Lucky us.”

Fans have been expecting the exciting news since Henry took to Instagram in November to wax poetically over the impending addition to her family.

“Pregnancy is different for everyone, but for myself, it’s revealed a level of vulnerability that has brought me to my knees most days,” the actress shared. “It has illuminated what magic it is that any of us have gotten here in the first place, and that that arrival was due to sacrifice and a deep love.”

On New Year’s Eve, Henry expressed the feelings of anticipation that the couple was feeling, “Cheers baby daddy, may we always remember the days/moments we were needed by no one else but each other. Our hearts are about to expand beyond what we even thought possible. I love you, no one else I’d rather do it with.”
