Genie Francis Shares Special “Family” Holiday Photo

The Christmas spirit has hit Genie Francis as the popular actress decided to tell fans how she feels about the holidays — and show them.

She took to Twitter to let everyone know the holidays are all about family — and for her, that includes her General Hospital family. At the top of that list is her onscreen mother, Denise Alexander, and she shared a beautiful picture of them.

Longtime fans will recall how special the bond was between Laura and her mother Lesley since Francis first joined GH almost 40 years ago in 1977. In fact, one of her earliest storylines was Lesley confessing to the murder of David Hamilton to cover for daughter Laura, who really committed the crime (though it was an accident). The two actresses have remained close over the decades.
