Tristan Rogers Teases Exciting General Hospital Return

Fan favorite Tristan Rogers tweeted some very exciting General Hospital news overnight.

Let the Fun Begin
This is welcomed news for any longtime fans who loved the adventures of sexy WSB agent Robert Scorpio. The capers he shared with Luke Spencer (Tony Geary), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), and even former wife Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) were considered some of the best on General Hospital and part of the show’s glory days. So what could bring the spy back to Port Charles? Here are a few theories.

Bringing Him Back
The strongest possibility would be that Finola Hughes is back from her vacation, and he’s joined her in Port Charles. The former married spies have a long history and a daughter together. Could there be new sparks with this old love now that Duke has been laid to rest? Another possibility could be he was summoned by his best friend’s former wife. Could Laura be asking Robert for help to track down Luke’s whereabouts to prove he is alive?

A less likely scenario–but still possible–could be that he’s be called upon to fill in for a missing Luke at an impromptu wedding for Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dante (Dominc Zamprogna). Many seem to forget they’re divorced, so maybe it’s time to remedy that. Who better to walk Lulu down the aisle if her father is a no-show than his best friend?

There’s no indication on how long he’ll be back, especially since the actor is also expected to appear on The Young and the Restless where he plays Colin, Jill’s (Jess Walton) husband. No matter how long he’s there, Robert Scorpio back on General Hospital is enough to make any fan smile.
