The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, August 14 features a whole lot of exposition about Franco’s plight, a little snooping on Hayden’s part, and a “friendly” softball game between literary magnates.
Robert (Tristan Rogers) arrived at Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason’s (Steve Burton) penthouse to take their statements about Sam’s ordeal — because in the real world district attorneys make house calls and interview witness themselves! While there he took the opportunity to fill the two of them in on Franco’s sacrifice to save a kidnapped Cameron.
Over at General Hospital, Elizabeth (Rebeca Herbst) was frantic to get Franco (Roger Howarth) to remember her. She overwhelmed her husband with pictures of them together, shots of the boys and photo identification cards that prove he is not Andrew Cain. Surprisingly, Franco wasn’t buying what she’s selling.
In particular, he has a problem with the date on the ID cards. The last memory he has is from 2012 and they were all issued in 2019. But that’s correct, the real Drew (Billy Miller) assured him. He has missed seven years because a madman with a medical license used him as a guinea pig.
Franco was still not swayed and he demanded to be allowed to leave. Elizbeth tried in vain to stop him and she even got physical with Drew when he stepped aside and let Franco walk out of the door.
Knowing that Nina and Valentin were otherwise engaged with Sasha at the hospital, Hayden (Rebecca Budig) chartered a boat and snuck onto Spoon Island where she began to search for the super-secret item that she and Jax (Ingo Rademacher) are after.
Back at General Hospital, Franco runs into Kim (Tamara Braun) and begins to flirt with her. Kim — unaware that Franco now possesses Drew’s memories — was taken aback by his forwardness.
She was more stunned when he brought up a memory that only Drew would know and wrapped her in his arms for a kiss — an act witnessed by Elizabeth! General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
