The General Hospital recap for Monday, March 16, 2020, features Liz and Franco feeling the pinch, Liesl getting the shaft, Josslyn and Carly coming to an agreement, and Nikolas getting rejected.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
After spending the night without water, heat, or electricity, Franco (Roger Howarth) panicked about what to do moving forward while Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) insisted on accentuating the positives.
After Franco’s attempt to hit Scotty (Kin Shriner) up for cash resulted was a bust, he confided in Ava (Maura West) his money woes and his fear that his talents as an artist would never again be recognized.
What About Hayden?
Meanwhile, Elizabeth tried to unload some of her positive energy onto Finn (Michael Easton) whose anxiety about an incommunicado Hayden (Rebecca Budig) was heightened by Violet’s (Jophielle Love) upcoming birthday.
Off a conversation with Ava – who encouraged him to give Hayden’s loved ones a hopeful untruth – Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) tracked Elizabeth down and informed her that his efforts to locate her sister were for naught. She is either injured, dead, or running from another unknown entity – an explanation that did not sit well with Nurse Baldwin.
Liesl: Family Ties
Having extricated herself from Julian’s (William de Vry) apartment – without leaving him with the benefit of her phone number – Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) made a quick stop to change her clothes and then headed to the PCPD holding cells.
Upon being greeted by her daughter, Liesl (Kathleen Gati) immediately launched into a tirade about Peter (Wes Ramsey) and how he and Anna (Finola Hughes) had placed her in her current predicament. Though Britt found her mother’s explanation hard to swallow, Liesl’s next visitor – Robert Scorpio – informed her that he agrees with her assessment.
Moving Forward
While Sonny (Maurice Beard) snuck over to Julian’s and confronted him about paying for Brad’s (Perry Shen) defense, Carly (Laura Wright) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) hashed out their future plans.
For a brief moment, Josslyn preferred escaping to Australia before revealing that there was no way she could leave Carly or her siblings. Instead, the duo agreed that homeschooling was the answer – for now. But only if that dishy Mr. Phillips (Mark Lawson) agreed to play tutor.
Questions and Vague Answers
Brando (Johnny Wactor) was shown around his new motorcycle repair shop but he worried that Sonny and Jason (Steve Burton) would use the location for nefarious purposes. Jason insisted that the shop was a legitimate thank you for saving Carly’s life.
A subsequent discussion between the men concerning Brando’s struggle with PTSS was halted by a noise from the outside. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
