March 23 is National Puppy Day, a time for people to celebrate the paw-some dogs in their lives, so naturally, social media is full of cute images and videos of puppies of all shapes and sizes. General Hospital star Wes Ramsey is no different.
Wes Ramsey Celebrates National Puppy Day
Ramsey has not been shy about his love for his puppy, Kimba, who he shares with girlfriend Laura Wright (GH’s Carly), and made sure to give his furry friend a shout-out on the special day.
“Just when I thought I knew the capacities of love, you blew the doors right off,” Ramsey wrote on Instagram, sharing an adorable photo of Kimba. “I love watching you grow up so fast. You teach me (and challenge me) daily & now that you’re here, I can’t imagine life without you.”
About a month ago, Ramsey posted a photo of Wright with the puppy and you could tell how much Kimba means to him.

“This year I celebrate the love of two special girls…thank you both for keeping my everyday vibrant & alive with attention & affection,” the actor wrote. “You are both my sweet miraculous angels & it is the great honor of my life to love & protect you both.”
There are plenty of posts from both GH stars on their Instagram feeds, starting with the sweetest photo of the puppy on Christmas day, which Ramsey called “our Christmas miracle.” The couple is understandably infatuated with this cute puppy and it’s always a treat to see Kimba make her way into their Instagram feeds.
On GH, Ramsey’s Peter could surely benefit by having an adorable puppy by his side. While he’s about to be a dad with Maxie, now that everyone is aware of his crimes, he doesn’t have many fans left in Port Charles, including the soon-to-be mother of his child.
But let’s give the guy a break. Being sired by supervillains Cesar Faison and Alex Devane and raised by Faison couldn’t have been a picnic and maybe if he had been given him a puppy as lovable as Kimba as a friend, Peter wouldn’t have grown up to be such a louse!
