On October 6, General Hospital star Wes Ramsey celebrated his birthday and made sure that the day was special to him—and for others. The actor posted his birthday actions on his Instagram account, showing he wasn’t just thinking of himself on what was his special day.
Wes Ramsey Is Grateful
“Today I will be donating to the LA Mission & the Salvation Army as the number of hungry children (& their parents) continues to grow in this devastating chapter of our history,” he wrote.
Ramsey spent part of his day on set at GH, and he couldn’t have been happier spending his 43rd birthday back at work.
He posted a photo of his name on the Prospect Studios set and described his feelings of spending the day at such a wonderful place at such a dark time in our lives.
“In a year filled with so much turmoil, fear, violence, doubt & heartwrenching loss, I take the simplest solace, on this day, in being able to wrap myself in this creative space, (my happy place) where my imagination can still stretch & breathe…never taking for granted the gift of being here & all I have to be grateful for in my here & now,” he said.
Onscreen, Ramsey is having a blast playing the nefarious Peter August opposite Kirsten Storms’ Maxie as he tries to keep her and their unborn baby safe while others around them try to tear them apart. Robert (Tristan Rogers), Liesl (Kathleen Gati), and others know that the son of Faison is trouble and they are doing everything in their power to show Maxie his true colors. But with her, Peter is not the evil mastermind others see. Will their love story reform him? Stay tuned. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
