It feels like the world has completely changed in unimaginable ways in just the last few days and that’s because it has. Cities and states are closing things down, Americans are asked to stay home and avoid large crowds, and our favorite soaps have halted production. General Hospital star Steve Burton took some time with his children on a non-crowded beach in the fresh air to offer some positivity during this uncertain time.

Steve Burton: Staying Positive

“Wishing you peace, love, grace, and positivity during these times. I know it can be overwhelming with all the stress and negativity and we can’t control what happens around us but we can control what we do…Be the light. Make the difference. Help one another.”

Like the rest of us, Burton’s life has changed over the last week as GH shut down the set and his personal appearances to meet fans in other parts of the country had to be canceled. However, he is still determined to remain hopeful and give escape to others.

Burton and co-star Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) have episodes of their hilarious podcast, Stone Cold and the Jackal, in stock and ready to watch and enjoy at any moment you need some light entertainment.

The actor also admitted in a hashtag he has NOT been hoarding toilet paper and that he’s continuing his habits of keeping his immune system healthy. Steve Burton also made sure to retweet a meme thanking nurses for all they are doing during this trying and frightening time in world history. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
