It seems like only yesterday that a smiling Avery Corinthos was looking up from her perch in a playpen or taking her first steps at Sonny and Carly’s aborted wedding on General Hospital.

But now the twins who play Ava and Sonny’s daughter, Ava and Grace Scarola, turned 6 years old on Sunday.
“They have been so excited to turn 6 and have been counting down this day for what seems like months now. Originally we had planned a birthday weekend at Disney to celebrate, but we will make it a special at home for our sweet twinsie bops,” the girls’ mom posted to Instagram.

Ava and Grace have played Avery since infancy and we have watched her grow up before our eyes for the last five-and-a-half years. The identical twins are so much alike we can barely tell which one is in a scene, but we do know when Avery appears — like at Violet’s birthday party two weeks ago — it’s always absolutely adorable.
The pair has given us countless smiles through the years as Avery has been tossed back and forth between two battling parents. Like other kids on GH, Soap Hub hopes we get to watch them grow more and play Avery for a long time to come. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
