General Hospital’s Maurice Benard Needs Your Help On New Beard Decision

In 2015 on General Hospital, after Sonny was shot in yet another mob hit (what else is new?), he spent quite some time in the hospital as he was first comatose and then paralyzed. During that time, he grew a beard and Maurice Benard wasn’t sure whether to keep it or not.

So, he turned to the fans for input and ultimately ended up keeping it a little while longer till he finally decided to shave it off.

Well, it looks like Benard has either grown a beard once again or is debating whether to do so, as he has posted to Instagram a snap of him with a beard stating: “Beard/No beard. That is the question.”

Fans were quick to chime in with a mix of answers but the majority seem to love him with the beard. We’re not sure if that will help the actor make his decision or not but at least we know what General Hospital viewers think.

Right now Sonny is involved in another mob war that could get him shot. It already left Laura (Genie Francis) in the hospital and today has put Cameron (Will Lipton) and Trina (Sydney Mikayla) in danger.
