While General Hospital fans would love to see her back in Port Charles as our beloved Robin Scorpio-Drake, Kimberly McCullough has been keeping plenty busy behind the scenes as her directing career reaches new heights.
For her latest gig, McCullough gets to tackle a musical — and not just any musical. She’s directing an episode of High School Musical: The Series, according to her Instagram page.
She doesn’t say much, but the picture says it all as she shares a shot of her director’s sign with her name on it. You can see her name in the credits all over prime time TV in the last few years, as she has directed shows such as One Day At A Time, Fuller House, The Conners, Pretty Little Liars, and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Clearly, McCullough is one sort after creative force.
When not in front of the camera or behind the camera, she’s busy raising her almost-three-year-old son, Otis. But what about GH? The last we saw her, Robin had to deal with the fact that she (maybe) has a brother Anna never told her about. And last week we at least got Robin’s now-adolescent daughter on our small screens when Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) showed up for a visit. Perhaps we’ll see Robin again for The Nurses’ Ball.
We’re sure we’ll be seeing more of McCullough’s directing work again soon and will keep you informed about when her latest High School Musical episode airs. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
