General Hospital’s Invisible Boy: Should We Be Seeing More of Aiden?

The big joke on General Hospital (GH) used to be that Jake was Elizabeth’s only visible child – Cam and Aiden must be stuffed in the attic. (Alongside All My Children’s Bobby Martin. Don’t get the reference? Google it! It’s fun!)

Cam finally resurfaced, even if he just changed faces yet again. And Jake is still the golden child, with Jason (Steve Burton), Drew (Billy Miller), and Franco (Roger Howarth) battling it out to be his favorite daddy.

But what about Aiden? Is it time for Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) baby to make an appearance? Here’s what over 11,000 fans had to say.

Seeing Spencers
Although Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) adopted Liz’s oldest sons and they all should bear the last name Spencer, Aiden is actually the biological grandson of the legendary Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis).

And this is the boy GH is choosing to ignore? We could have a young Luke Spencer on our hands. (Go ahead and make him older than his brothers, Cam stayed the same age for half a decade.)

That’s why 74% of you are dying to find out what Aiden is really like, and the only way to do that is to actually, you know, see him.

Two-Thirds
On the other hand, 25% of the audience just went through three years of oh, Jake, Jake, what’s wrong with Jake, where is Jake, who loves Jake most? And now Cam is interacting with the snooze-fest known as Joss (Eden McCoy) and Oscar (Garren Stitt).

So this would be a terrible time to unleash yet another of Liz’s spawn on Port Charles. The canvas is overflowing as it is, and you don’t need him — especially if he’s a chip off the ol’ Luke.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
