General Hospital’s Dr. Obrecht Orders Everyone To Wear A Mask Outside

Poor Dr. Obrecht has been wasting away at the Hague awaiting trial on General Hospital, so fans haven’t gotten their usual dose of Kathleen Gati’s deliciously diabolical doctor for quite some time. Thanks to the actress and one particular fan, get ready to see her and get some good medical advice at the same time!

General Hospital — The Doctor Is In

It all started when a family member of Twitter user Joan Collins paid to have a message made by Gati sent to her sister… done in-character. Luckily for fans of the social media platform, she shared it with everyone!

“Nothing like Dr. O @gatitweets shaming you into wearing a mask made by the best sister ever! Now that I am wearing my mask, would you please break out of jail & come back to @GeneralHospital! Thanks for making my day, week, month, year!💜”

In the video, which you can watch below, Gati stays in character, admonishing the woman for not wearing the mask her sister Jean made for her — and it’s hilarious. After sharing it, Gati herself retweeted it with another message to Joan.

“Haha! It was my pleasure!! 😷👍🏻😘❤️ https://cameo.com/gatitweets” she wrote, including the location where others can go to have something similar made for them too.

Back In Port Charles

Unfortunately, that might be the last new thing we’ll see of Dr. Obrecht for a while at least. It’s not known if Gati has any more finished episodes since the character is stuck fighting for her freedom after Peter (Wes Ramsey) set her up for his crimes.

Luckily, there are a few in Port Charles who believe in her (or at least believe the worst of Peter), including Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), and Jason (Steve Burton).
