On General Hospital, Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford is on the outs with her husband and son. Luckily for actress Briana Nicole Henry, her spare time is being spent celebrating a very special milestone.
Happy Birthday, Briana Nicole Henry
That’s because she was born on January 19, in Broward County, Florida, which means that this talented performer is celebrating her birthday! Though Henry was more passionate about sports during her school days, she became interested in an acting career after entering a poetry contest in which she needed to perform the piece in front of a crowd.
Post high school, Henry received a BFA in theater acting from, the University of Southern California. While studying at her college, Henry filmed a small cameo in the film At Middleton and landed a part on the CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless.
Despite only being hired for one episode, Henry so impressed her bosses that she was scripted to appear in another 15. Subsequent work including a recurring role on the TV comedy show Undateable and guest roles on Stitchers, Jane the Virgin, and Shameless. She also appeared in the made-for-TV movie Single Minded and the Netflix original Bright.
On September 13, 2018, Henry debuted as Jordan Ashford on the ABC sudser General Hospital, replacing incumbent actress Vanessa Antoine. In it a bit of irony, it would later transpire that she had auditioned for the role of Jordan prior to the character’s 2014 introduction but had been told that she was too young.
Henry’s other film and TV projects include Insecure, The Morning Show and The Weeklings, an animated program that she has lent her voice to.
Soap Hub would like to wish Briana Nicole Henry a very happy birthday and many more. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
