It feels like the Nathan/Maxie/Claudette/Griffin quadrangle can finally take flight now that Kirsten Storms is back on General Hospital. Nothing against pinch hitter Molly Burnett, but it’s nice to have the face we associate with Maxie Jones back in the role.
Getting into this front burner story wasn’t easy without Storms around, but now that she’s made her PC return Nathan (Ryan Paevey) is ready for that wedding day more than ever before. With a little hesitation, Maxie agreed to forge ahead with plans–and even put them into overdrive.
Soap Hub asked if you think this marriage can last–if they even make it to the altar at all.
A Happy Marriage
Out of nearly 4,500 votes, only 59% of you have faith in Maxie and Nathan. You believe in their love and that they can face any obstacle–including one named Claudette (Bree Williamson). You’ve watched Maxie mature over the years and feel she’s ready for anything life throws her while remaining her spunky self.
Too Much Trouble
Another 39% think this pair has too many obstacles. You feel Nathan isn’t trustworthy and may hide even more skeletons in his closet. You also think there’s an underlying attraction between Maxie and Griffin (Matt Cohen) that will get in the way. Couple that with the way Nathan still looks at Claudette and you see trouble on the horizon.
Enough Already
The final 2% don’t even care. You’re over this contrived quadrangle of people who seem to arrive out of nowhere with no real Port Charles connection. You’d rather see Maxie reunite with Spinelli and Griffin, Nathan, and Claudette return to NYC where they belong.
