The tension truly tightened on General Hospital this week, with people being pulled in every direction!

Ava turned down Ryan’s suggestion that they leave Port Charles together, citing Avery as her reason for staying. When Sonny said that the little girl couldn’t leave, Ryan put him and Carly on his list.

Laura made a big change, too, referring to herself as “Laura Webber” when she took the oath of office… but although she seemed ready to move on, Lulu refused to give up on her investigation.

Some devastating news came when Oscar was given between six weeks and eight months to live, but he resolved to make the most of life… and that starts with the week ahead.

The situation surrounding baby Wiley takes a particularly complicated turn when Brad brings the boy to Julian’s… and Willow sees Michael holding him.

Another complex state of affairs is finally resolved – at least for now – when Nina and Valentin reunite.

Still, there’s thunder in the Port Charles air, and lightning strikes when Jason puts his life on the line… and the end result is shocking for everyone.
