We’ve been watching them since infancy in the role of Wiley Cooper Jones, and then Wiley Corinthos as the character’s true parentage came to light. Now, Erik and Theo Olson, the little boys who play Michael and Nelle’s son, turned 3 years old this week.
“THREE!!! Help me in wishing Erik & Theo a very happy 3rd birthday!!” their mom posted to Instagram on Tuesday. “We are celebrating by playing at a park (so sad that that is a luxury this year!). They had a fun dinosaur ‘party’ this past weekend! They will also be filming at GH tomorrow and we’re counting that as a fun birthday present too!!”
Her birthday wish accompanied a photo of the twins holding up three fingers to show us how old they are now.
Erik and Theo have proven themselves to be quite adaptable on-screen as Instagram videos have shown us they had quite the friendly relationship with Parry Shen who plays Brad, Wiley’s adoptive dad who eventually had to confess he was raising Michael and Nelle’s child and the child he and Lucas adopted had died.
Now, they seem just as comfortable with Chad Duell as their Port Charles dad now that Michael has custody of Wiley. The character is about to add another family member now that Nina (Cynthia Watros) has discovered that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) was her daughter, and therefore Wiley is the grandson she never knew she had.
Like Ava and Grace Scarola, the twin sisters who play Avery, we have gotten to watch Erik and Theo grow up before our eyes and hope to see them as Wiley for many more years as the boys and the character grow. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
