Wouldn’t it be amazing if both men who may or may not be Jason are BOTH Jason on General Hospital (GH)?
Remember, there have been two Jasons since 1996, mainly played by Steve Burton, but with Billy Miller so popular in the role, why not make Burton one Jason and Miller the other Jason?
Longtime fans can easily recall good-guy Jason Quartermaine who certainly did not come with the instinct to kill. In fact, he was studying to be a doctor just like his father back in 1995 when on New Year’s Eve, he tried to stop his brother, AJ, from driving drunk and…died.
Of course, he didn’t really die. He just woke up brain damaged with no memory or emotional connection to anything that was Jason Q. Or, at least that’s how his lack of memory, emotion (or, at the time, the ability to lie) was explained?
But, what if Helena (why not make it Helena–it’s always Helena) had Jason Quartermaine switched with Drew Frank, the boy Betsy Frank was raising with Franco, but who she claims died.
It’s clear either Miller or Burton will turn out to be Drew (we are betting on Miller here), but what if Drew woke up in the hospital in January of 1996 with no memory and was just told his name was Jason? He went along with it for decades, but what else was he supposed to believe?
The real Jason Quartermaine–the gentler one who was not angry at the world with a killer instinct–ended up with Helena for years and is the one who Ava ran down in 2014, causing him to need the surgery that gave him Billy Miller’s face.
Of course, when he woke, he did have a killer instinct, but that’s because Helena had a chip in his brain. And, in 2016, he did recall all of Jason Morgan’s memories, but perhaps that little chip somehow planted those memories there.
Nope, we did not forget that one thing the allegedly brain-damaged Jason Morgan woke up knowing was how to be a doctor on a pre-med level. But, those elementary medical skills could have also been planted there by Helena way back in the 1990s.
We know it sounds WAY out there, but it is a soap, and MUCH stranger things have happened. Tell us what YOU think.
