Sybil the Psychic Predicts the Future: Alcohol for Alexis

It has been a tragic year for Alexis, but I – Sybil the Psychic – plan to look into General Hospital future to see what’s ahead for her.

By examining my crystal ball, laying out the cards, and reading the tea leaves, I plan to predict what’s coming up for Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). But I make no promises, because let’s face it – it’s not an exact science (and I’m not really that…talented). Okay, it’s time to dig in.

Near Future
The crystal ball shows that Alexis has been deeply, deeply wounded this year – what with the love of her life, Julian (William deVry) almost killing her with the same knife that was used to kill her own mother.

That horrific betrayal fueled her downward spiral into the bottom of a wine bottle, causing her to almost kill her grandson, career, and said ex-husband – and who knows who or what else.

The walls have been closing in and rock bottom is on the horizon for this once pillar of strength, if not decency… As she prepares to get her life back, she will soon cross paths with a surprising person who could either help her – or reveal the true trouble Alexis is really in as details seem foggy to her.

A Few Weeks Down the Line
Alexis reached in and pulled out the Two of Cups card from the tarot deck. This card is all about partnerships but it isn’t always clear whether it’s from the past, current, or a future one – but it’s clear that this partnership is very powerful.

Regarding the past, she has made a very strong connection that will be meaningful for years to come.

In the present, a loving union or close partnership will begin soon. As for the future, Alexis needs to be on the lookout for a partner who will help her achieve her goals – someone who understands her ambition and priorities.

Long Forecast
In reading the consultant’s tea leaves at the bottom of the cup, they seem to form the shape of an owl. This indicates sickness or poverty.

It can be a warning on starting a new venture. In Alexis’s case, she probably needs to concentrate on getting her drinking under control before she can make anything else work. What will set her off on the right path is a bit cloudy, but if she doesn’t, more tragedy may strike.
