Staying at home to stay safe is the name of the game now in America and across the globe and two General Hospital stars are making the most of their time with their families — and with their wives — to show their love in the most romantic ways.
Mark Lawson: Anniversary Man
For Mark Lawson (Dustin), it was an anniversary to celebrate, as he did via Instagram by posting a beautiful tribute to his wife, Cortney, on their 10th anniversary on Friday:
“A decade. Who would I be without you? Thankfully I don’t have to know.
We certainly didn’t know when we said our vows that “For Better or worse” would include an unprecedented pandemic.
“But if there is anything I’ve learned in this mess of a time, it’s that you are constant. You had us buy toilet paper two weeks before the lockdown. You take the lead with the homeschooling. You’re keeping us sane,” Mark Lawson continued.
“Wife, mother, SVP, teacher, homemaker. Each day you reveal a new level of grit, of creativity, of leadership. You keep us safe and prepared. You keep our kids happy and innocent. You deal with me being stir crazy. I’ve cherished every moment with you. I plan to cherish each moment more.”
Parry Shen: General Hospital Music Man
For Parry Shen (Brad), it may not have been his anniversary but he did treat his wife to something special in their kitchen to take them back to their wedding day. He did his best to recreate the song he sang her outside the church with all their guests watching.
Check out his tweeted video below to see how his wife’s reaction changed after so many years of wedded bliss.
Surprised my wife at our wedding by taking the mic from the wedding singer during the 2nd verse of the song, “Wherever You Will Go” — so when it played yesterday, I snuck downstairs to surprise her but to a much different reaction 😂.
