Lucas is poised to be in a world of hurt on General Hospital, but his portrayer, Ryan Carnes, has plenty of reason to celebrate.
That’s because Carnes was born on November 21, 1982, in Pittsfield, Illinois and that means he’s turning 36 years old today!
An only child, he attended Duke University for two years. Carnes is also a drummer, having played for over 15 years, and he writes lyrics, collaborating with several other musicians on their first project.
As for his acting career, he has been in many films, including Eating Out, Surf School, and Clint Eastwood’s Letters From Iwo Jima.
Carnes also appeared in TV movies, like Thicker Than Water, Grand Union, The Neighborhood Nightmare, Class, and the mini-series The Phantom.
But for soap fans, it was all about him being cast as Lucas Jones on GH back in 2004 that has won him a place in their hearts.
Now that Lucas is raising a boy he thinks is his but is really Michael’s (Chad Duell), there is certainly some meaty material ahead when Lucas eventually learns this.
Soap Hub wishes Ryan Carnes the happiest of birthdays and you can too by clicking the Twitter link below.
