It’s quite a day for beloved General Hospital star Rebecca Herbst. Not only is she celebrating Mother’s Day with her three kids — she’s also celebrating her birthday.
Herbst was born on May 12, 1977 in Los Angeles, CA, which means she’s turning 42 years old today.
The longtime GH star got her start in the entertainment business while still a kid, appearing in a variety of national commercials. She also had guest shots on primetime series like Highway to Heaven and Beverly Hills, 90210.
She was only 21 years old when she landed the role of Elizabeth Webber on GH and has been playing the part ever since. In fact, several years back when the soap tried to let her go, fans were so vocal they got the actress her job back.
The Emmy-nominated Herbst even met her husband on set. Actor Michael Saucedo played Juan Santiago, son of Lily and Miguel, and cousin for Sabrina. The pair have been married since 2001 and share three children together, two sons and one daughter.
