Sonny Corinthos’ parenting skills on General Hospital are debatable given the traumas his kids have gone through, but in real life Maurice Benard is one devoted dad!
The actor recently posted a loving testimonial to his son Joshua in honor of his 14th birthday. (Joshua recently appeared as a young Sonny in the character’s “What If?” episode.)
Benard told his followers that he appreciates the comparisons that people make to his son, but he thinks his offspring has more confidence at his age now than Benard himself has at the age of 55!
Benard goes on to say one of the things he loves most is how much his son loves his mother, adding his certain belief that Joshua will accomplish whatever he wants to in life!
