General Hospital Star Kirsten Storms Passes Her Crafting Skills To Harper

Time will tell if General Hospital actress Kirsten Storms (Maxie) has another performer on her hands in daughter Harper (whom she shares with Brandon Barash, Jake, Days of Our Lives), but one thing’s for sure — the two definitely have produced an artist!

“Harper and I have been doing the ‘3 Marker Challenge’ a LOT lately,” Storms posted on Instagram. What’s that, you ask? “You pick a coloring page and then pick 3 markers without looking. Sometimes you get stuck with 2 of your 3 markers being orange (me 🙄), but it’s what makes it interesting.

“And Harper loves this challenge,” Storms continues, “so I will use 3 orange markers if I have to. We have modified it a little bit at this point (like I said, we’ve done this a lot) and now we pick 2 colors we want and then blindly choose 2. Fun to do with little ones! (I bought all our coloring books at Dollar Tree. It’s the way to go. I even found some Holiday coloring books for the Christmas break.)”

“My 6-year-old loves this too,” posted @whatlarawrote. “I blame YouTube 😆 But it’s cute and I don’t mind when YouTube influences his love of art.”

“My twins love the Dollar Tree coloring books!” adds @gouldopak. “I’ll have to try this 3 marker challenge as we’re currently in quarantine and I’m running out of ways to occupy two 5-year-olds🤣.”

“Totally from YouTube kids,” adds @carmcirills. “We have been doing it regularly with my 6-year-old. We’ve also done it where we blindly pick the markers and draw a picture of her choosing behind dividers so the other can’t see and will FaceTime family to judge the winner.
