General Hospital Star Kirsten Storms Celebrates AMAZING Milestone

Maxie has been trying to keep her life together ever since she lost Nathan on General Hospital, but Kirsten Storms has plenty to celebrate!

That’s because she was born on April 8, 1984, in Orlando, Florida, which means the beautiful actress is turning 35 years old today! Her father was Sports Director of WFTV and WCPX (now WKMG) in Orlando and her older sister, Gretchen, is also an actress who appeared on Six Feet Under for HBO, as well as many other shows.

Storms also has two older brothers — Austin and Chris. When Austin was serving in Iraq, she worked with programs which support the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. She and her family rescued dogs from local animal shelters.

Storms got her start on shows like Second Noah, The Cape, and Any Day Now, but she really made a name for herself when she starred as Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century and its sequels Zenon: The Zequel and Zenon: Z3.

Of course, for soap audiences, Storms got her big break in 2000 when she landed the role of Belle Black on Days of Our Lives — a role that she played for four years. After leaving that role, she joined Clubhouse and later went on to appear on Skater Boys and Kim Possible.

In 2005, she took over the role of Maxie Jones on General Hospital — which would go on to change her life. She met and married former co-star Brandan Barash (ex-Johnny; now Stefan on DAYS). Their marriage didn’t last but she did become a mother — to Harper in 2014.
