Planning for a potential 2021 Nurses Ball on General Hospital may still be a ways off, but the show might consider giving Violet Finn a slot at the charity talent show that brings funds and awareness to HIV/AIDS. Jophielle Love, who plays Finn and Hayden’s daughter, recently showed off some musical talents!

“My first ukulele song strumming reel chords! 🤣🤪😎” Love posted on her Instagram account. “Well…only two! C and Am ! So pick up your uke and sing 🎤 🎶 with me one of my favorite song: Roar by Katy Perry (American Idol). @katyperry Warning: no auto tune here! 😜no voice filters… we’ll get to that later!

“Thanks to my Nana for sending me this song to sing!” the actress/singer added. “If you know of other easy songs to play on the Uke… please share in the comments! Thanks for listening 🥰😍@katrakindar #roar #katyperry #theeyeofthetiger #ukulele #uke @jophiellelove #gh #generalhospital #popstar #risingstar #tuto #easyukulele #turorial #musicforkids @populele.us #populele.”

“Great job! You are so precious, you make my heart sing!” posted @carmenpresti621.

As veteran GH fans know, Violet’s family tree goes back to the show’s premiere episode. Her mother Hayden (Rebecca Budig) is the granddaughter of the late Dr. Steve Hardy (John Beradino). Violet’s grandfather is Dr. Jeff Webber (Richard Dean Anderson), the result of Steve’s affair with Helene Webber when she was estranged from her husband Lars.

Jeff learned the truth from Audrey (Rachel Ames) when Steve was dying during the Lassa Fever epidemic in 1979. Fortunately, Steve survived and he and Jeff were able to connect as long-lost father and son.

GH’s Nurses Ball began in 1994. The annual charity talent show, featuring Port Charles citizens singing, dancing, and performing other acts, was written into the show during the AIDS crisis. The Nurses Ball went on hiatus, but returned back in 2013, timed with the show’s 30th anniversary. Producers managed to put a show on last year despite the production challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listing for air times.
