Popular General Hospital star James Patrick Stuart makes no secret of his passion for travel and outdoor sports, but that passion turned into a bit of horror last week.
According to Stuart, he was skiing when he cracked a rib, which can be a very painful injury that takes months to recover from.
While he can likely still work with a cracked rib, Stuart has to be more careful on set, but in his typical humorous self, he’s taken to Twitter to quip about the injury.
“Cracked a rib skiing last week. Thank goodness I don’t have to carry Nina out of any burning barns.”
The actor is clearly referring to last summer’s scenes when Nina and Peter were stuck in the Wyndemere stables after a crazed Liesl set the place on fire. This followed months of Liesl and a reluctant Nina keeping Peter tied to a bed as revenge for being partly responsible (in their minds) for Nathan’s death.
As of this week, Stuart is working with a brand-new Nina, as Cynthia Watros is now on set and has taken over the role. Hopefully, Nina doesn’t get herself in any trouble that requires Valentin’s rescuing over the next few months.
Of course, if the truth of what Valentin did regarding her “daughter” comes out, Nina may not want him saving her from anything.
And, it goes without saying that Soap Hub wishes Stuart a speedy recovery from his injury.
